The object of the course is the teaching of English Language for Specific Purposes. In particular, the students are taught English terminology that is related with their object of study through contemporary, authentic, English texts which refer to sectors such as the learning difficulties, education, psychoeducation, methodology of teaching, behavioural disorders, neuropsychology, educational psychology, sociology, etc. The objective of the course, inter alia, is familiarization of the students with English texts on special education and development of their skills through reading, audiovisual and other activities in English so as to be able to comprehend English, written and oral discourse in their speciality.Less
